3003 Aluminum
3003 aluminum is a widely used aluminum-manganese (AL-Mn) alloy known for its excellent anti-rust properties. While its strength is not high compared to other alloys, it can be improved through cold processing methods. In the annealed state, 3003 aluminum is highly malleable and exhibits high plasticity, making it easy to form and shape. When subjected to semi-cold hardening, it maintains good plasticity while gaining some additional strength. However, further cold hardening reduces plasticity while increasing strength. The aluminum round bar made of 3003 aluminum offers good corrosion resistance, making it suitable for applications where protection against corrosion is essential. It also has good weldability but tends to have poor machinability.
